Golden Sands Hotel Apartments holds successful European roadshow

Dubai, UAE: Golden Sands Hotel Apartments, part of A.A. Al Moosa Enterprises and pioneered the concept of hotel apartments in the region, successfully held a roadshow across three major European cities on June 2-6 to showcase the major tourism development in Dubai and offer an ideal holiday getaway to people looking for budget hotel accommodation in the emirate.

Organised by the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and co-sponsored by GSHA, the five-day roadshow was rolled out in Paris, Zurich, and Milan and attended by major tour operators.

The UAE has been keen to boost European tourism, which is already growing rapidly. The number of European visitors in Dubai more than doubled between 2002 and 2012, according to government statistics. Last year, Dubai’s top visitor source markets included five EU countries, such as the UK (ranked 3rd), Germany (ranked 7th), France (ranked 14th), Italy (ranked 17th) and the Netherlands (ranked 20th).
