Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), the organiser of Dubai International Motor Show 2015, has revealed the 13th and largest edition to date of MENA’s most influential automotive event will feature a jaw-dropping collection of the world’s leading car, super car and motorbike manufacturers, tuning specialists and other automotive-related companies.

Running November 10-14 at DWTC, Dubai International Motor Show 2015 will welcome more than 100,000 anticipated regional and international visitors, with global manufacturers’ confidence in the UAE and wider Middle East market already swelling booked and reserved exhibition space beyond 75,000 square metres – a double-digit percentage increase on the biennial event’s last outing in 2013. Much of the expanded exhibition space will be occupied by dedicated pavilions for super cars and bikes, as well specialist zones for tuning and customisation. The 2015 event will also feature more interactive areas and driving experiences.

According to online automotive industry data provider, www.focus2move.com, global car, super car and motorbike manufacturers view the Middle East as an increasingly vital revenue source – particularly in sales of light vehicles. The online data site predicts the UAE’s booming automotive sales will spur growth in the country’s motorisation ratio from 361 light vehicles for every 1,000 residents in 2013, to 483 in 2020 – an increase of 33 per cent.

“With the overwhelming majority of major global manufacturers already committed to Dubai International Motor Show 2015, the show is now internationally-recognised as one of the world’s most important automotive events,” said Trixie LohMirmand, Senior Vice President, Exhibitions & Events Management, DWTC. “And with a series of new marques and models due to be launched or unveiled for the first time in the region at this year’s show, the support of so many key international automotive heavyweights underlines the enduring importance of the MENA region as a key revenue driver for global manufacturers.”

Meanwhile, Dubai International Motor Show 2015 will host ‘DIMS TV’ – a dedicated, in-house television channel – for the first time this year. The bespoke production has been conceived to provide a promotional platform for the show’s automotive stakeholders, enrich the on-site content to better inform visitors of manufacturers’ premiers, and highlight other consumer engagement touch-points at the show.

Elsewhere, Dubai International Motor Show 2015 has signed a strategic partnership with Switzerland Tourism to host a global campaign celebrating the country’s 150th anniversary this year. As part of the alliance, Switzerland Tourism will roll-out an interactive activation to promote its ‘Tour of Switzerland’ at the show. Numerous prizes will be offer, including a Grand Prize of return flights to Switzerland, week-long car rental and accommodation for a family of four.

Dubai International Motor Show 2015 will be open daily from 11am to 10pm from November 10-14 at DWTC. Ticket prices are AED 60 for single-day entry, with children under-five entering free. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. For more information visit the show’s newly upgraded website at: www.dubaimotorshow.com
