Cristal Hotels on Show At the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai

With three hotels opening in Saudi Arabia by next year, Abu Dhabi based Cristal Hospitality will be in Dubai next month to update representatives of both the regional and international travel trade at the Middle East’s largest travel exhibition, Arabian Travel Market taking place between May 3rd and 7th.

According to President & C.E.O. of Cristal Group, Peter Blackburn, the event is an ideal opportunity to promote the Cristal name to a wider audience as well as introduce the new properties to existing customers: “We are delighted to have recently opened a new 100-room five-star hotel in Erbil, Kurdistan that features three restaurants as well as a large garden venue, spa, indoor pool and a ballroom”.

“In addition, we have two hotels nearing completion in Riyadh and a further business property opening in Dammam, giving us a presence in four countries, including the UAE, Iraq and Lebanon – with a total portfolio of 16 current hotels and projects across the Middle East, Africa and Asia.”

Saudi Arabia is the major economy in the GCC region and has committed to boost tourism as an industry and employer with tourism projects valued at more than US$11.6bn currently underway in the Kingdom – overall, religious tourism is estimated to contribute US$45.3bn to the economy complementing the major petrochemical sector.
