New on-line portal brings Bosnian tourism market closer to GCC
The first on-line portal offering a range of holiday packages to GCC and global travelers
The first travel portal dedicated to travel in Bosnia and Herzegovina, http://hellobosnia.com, offering a range of travel packages and bespoke services started its operations yesterday.
Being the only full service on-line portal devoted to this increasingly popular travel destination, the portal has designed sightseeing tours, short trips as well as various holiday packages to specifically suit preferences of GCC tourists. “Today, we brought a great destination to global travel market that promises to offer unforgettable experiences given Bosnia’s rich history and culture, stunning nature and plentiful activities” said Armin Osmancevic, Co-Founder and Director at the portal.
“We believe that Bosnia and Herzegovina has it all, lush outdoors, great year-round weather, and abundant attractions. But above all our people are very hospitable and warm”, said Ms. Selma Begic, Director at the portal based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Indeed, the World Economic Forum (WEF) report on Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Report ranks Bosnia at the top 8th position globally for the friendliness of its people.
Bosnia among top global destinations
Whether for the splendor of its marvelous architecture or as an alternative and off-the-path destination, the BBC Travel and the Guardian are just a few among many others to recently feature Bosnia and Herzegovina among the top travel destinations. The heart shaped country – Bosnia, centrally located in the South East Europe, offers multiple themes to explore within the country but also, quick connectivity to the rest of continental Europe whether by road or air. “The recent direct flights from Dubai to Sarajevo, and visa free regime for UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain citizens has firmly placed Bosnia on travel itineraries in these markets.” said Mr. Osmancevic.
Services and Pricing
The portal offers a range of products including sightseeing tours offered completely free of charge. Other packages are priced competitively and start as low as Euro 90 for daily trips and Euro 285 for 3 days holiday. The portal also includes ’What’s On’ section with event listing accross the country. ”Our event listing showcases Bosnia’s vibrant cultural and event scene. It complements our products that were designed to offer complete piece of mind to our clients, including Arabic speaking guides, great accommodation and attentive service”, said Ms. Begic.
Among conveniences tailored to GCC clients is option to make cash payments for the bookings in addition to standard credit card payments. The portal will also be available in Arabic language very soon.
