Hesham Malik felicitated by HH Sheikh Juma ‎ bin Maktoum al Maktoum

Internationally acclaimed artist Hesham Malik, painted 3 live canvases at the Rashid Paediatric Centre along with the special needs children in Dubai. Guest of honor HH Sheikh Juma ‎ bin Maktoum al Maktoum felicitated the artist, Hesham  for his notable contribution to the global art market. Hesham Malik is recognized globally for his significant initiative to encourage and inculcate a sense of art amongst the children.

HH Sheikh Juma bin Maktoum al Maktoum is a philanthropist both in the UAE and globally, with interest in sustainable development projects, particularly in the healthcare and education sectors.  The live canvas painted along with the 20 original images from Hesham Malik’s new collection Esparito (Spirit), will be auctioned in an exquisite event towards the end of May.

An art lover, Ayesha Imtiaz present at the event said, “It was a delight to see the sparkle in the children’s eye while painting alongside the noble artist. It was very kind of Mr. Hesham to spend three hours with the children drawing out their passion for painting.”

Passionate art lover, collector and curator of Esparito, Manisha Sugandh, who witnessed the workshop said, “These children have an inherent energy about them. They radiate it even through their innocent silence. I wanted to bring the nobility in Hesham’s artistic expression and merge it with the innocence of these wondrous children.”
