Mepra Visionary award to Recognize Executive Leadership in The Region
The Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA) announced it will hand out the first MEPRA Visionary Award to a distinguished executive in the region at its Leadership Majlis, to be held in Abu Dhabi on June 10.
The Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA) announced it will hand out the first MEPRA Visionary Award to a distinguished executive in the region at its Leadership Majlis, to be held in Abu Dhabi on June 10.
The award will recognize a leader for their impact and thought leadership over the previous year. Leaders of corporations, agencies, government entities and not-for-profit organizations in the Middle East are eligible. MEPRA began accepting nominations today via its website, www.mepra.org/mepra-awards/mepra-visionary-award/.
The award will be presented during the MEPRA Leadership Majlis, a prestigious forum bringing together some of the world’s most esteemed public relations professionals for an evening of majlis-style discussions at the Ritz-Carlton in Abu Dhabi on June 10, 2015.
“We believe this region is abundant with visionary executives across a number of organizations and sectors,” said Brian Lott, Chairman of MEPRA. “Our organization, and our members, want to recognize those leaders who have a public voice in advocating for issues which are driving the region forward in the eyes of stakeholders around the globe.”
The MEPRA Leadership Majlis will be held under the theme, “Progress and Potential: Public Relations in the Middle East.” The Award will be chosen from five finalists, which will be announced prior to the June 10th majlis event.
CEOs and senior leaders from local and international entities will participate in the MEPRA Leadership Majlis, from 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal. The evening will include dinner and feature discussions and presentations from some of the industry’s most recognized leaders, including the following invited speakers:
