wasl Asset Management Group has had the world-leading class of its digital applications acknowledged with a major industry award. The real estate group – one of the foremost property management organisations in Dubai – was declared a Gold Winner at the SAP Quality Awards for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), scooping the title for its array of innovative Mobility Services, many of which are amongst the first of their kind in the region.
wasl picked up its SAP Quality Award in recognition of its role in spearheading the offering of innovative products and services to customers, with the scheme’s Gold Winners selected from over 200 organisations from across the EMEA region which had submitted nominations. Franck Cohen, President, SAP EMEA,presentedwasl’s award to Abdulla Obaidalla, Chief Operating Officer of wasl Asset Management Group, at the SAP Headquarters at Walldorf, Germany. Also attending from wasl were Mohamed Al Sharji, General Manager, IT and Fahim Shaikh, Head of IT Strategy & Business Solutions.
The SAP Quality Awards celebrate customers who have excelled in the planning and execution of their SAP software implementations in line with SAP quality principles. This year’s Gold Award for Mobility Innovation recognised wasl’s successful implementation and business value created by its mobility and online initiatives across the organisation’s various functions, including those at Dubai Golf, part of wasl’s extensive leisure portfolio. wasl impressed the Awards’ judges by demonstrating how they are using the latest technology to drive innovation and support the next generation of customer services, thereby exemplifying best practice for the EMEA region and the world.
wasl currently offers more than 60 main transactions and about 250 services through its online and mobility platforms. These include all customer interactions; such as property search, lease renewals, account statements, tenant registration, setting up payment schedules and raising maintenance requests. Dubai Golf customers can now book golfing tee times, modify their bookings and reserve restaurant tables at both Emirates Golf Club and Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club. wasl employees can use the mobile services for raising leave requests, purchase requisitions and make training course applications. wasl employees in the field are able to use the company’s mobile services to manage work schedules, conduct inspections and process service requests with real time and offline capabilities.
