Kempinski Hotel Ajman announces the appointment of Huanxi Yan as its new Chinese Head Chef. Chinese national Chef Huanxi has previously worked for the leading hotels in the Middle East. His career began in Guangzhou, China as Chef de Partie. After two years, he moved to Jakarta, Indonesia as a Head Chef and from 2010, he continued his culinary journey in the Middle East by working with upscale, five-star hotels in Dubai.

Commenting on this new appointment, the Executive Chef at Kempinski Hotel Ajman, Michael Kreiling said, “Firstly, we are very happy to have Chef Huanxi on board. His strong background and previous experience with different hotels around the region is a great asset for our F&B team. We are looking forward to give Hai Tao a modern twist with his expertise in the culinary field, and since he has previously worked at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, he is already familiar with Kempinski’s strategy, values and service. Now we can move things forward with Chef Huanxi and work towards creating new concepts and exciting dining experiences for our guests.”

At Kempinski Hotel Ajman, Chef Huanxi will be in charge of all the Chinese food served at the hotel, including the buffet at the all-day dining restaurant as well as Asian-themed dinners and in-room dining offerings for guests.
