It’s the global gaming sensation that has taken the world by storm. And now, Candy Crush inspired clothing designed by Zara Terez becomes exclusively available at the Candylicious store in the Dubai Mall.
The Candy Crush line of activewear by Zara Terez takes on a life of its own at a launch event running from November 26th to 28th 2015 at the Dubai Mall’s Star Atrium, where the Candy Crush fashion line will be showcased.
“Candylicious is known as the purveyor of all things related to candy, with the Dubai Mall branch being the world’s largest candy store. It just made sense to add to our candy credentials by including fashion that draws inspiration from gaming sensation Candy Crush,” said Rosantina Saraswati, Head of Confectionery Retail at Al Abbar Enterprises, the parent company of Candylicious stores.
The candy themed festivities will host a Grand Raffle Competition, where a winner will stand to win a one of a kind, hand painted Candy Crush branded KitchenAid appliance, valued at $2000. The premium mixers are chefs’ favourites the world over for their sheer diversity and ability to slice, dice, blend and mix without hassle.
The Candy Crush-themed event will also boast a photo wall where people can snap reams of selfies, or ask a professional photographer to do the honours. Candy Crush themed props will be at hand to add a certain gaming flair to the occasion.
“We’re looking forward to a high-energy celebration of all things candy and Candy Crush at the Dubai Mall. But there will also be places where people can sit and relax, and indulge in their favourite pastime – playing Candy Crush on their own devices,” added Joanne Lewis, License Marketing Manager at King.
Candy Crush has been installed over 500 million times across Facebook, iOS and Android devices. The game’s success has seen active wear and legging brand Zara Terez create a line of sportswear, skating skits, leggings and skating dresses featuring Candy Crush inspired patterns and colours.
