Now in its ninth edition, the city’s favorite food, drink and music festival has confirmed celebrity chefs Nathan Outlaw, Tom Aikens (who has recently opened his new concept restaurant Pots, Pans and Boards,in Dubai) Alfred Prasad and Atul Kochhar,who have seven Michelin stars between them. Jun Tanaka and Tim Anderson, have also been confirmed as well as the dynamic duo of Reza Mahammad and Jenny Morris, with more names to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
Visitors will enjoy a tantalizing taste of the most popular dishes from 20 exclusive fine-dining restaurants in Dubai, including four new eateries: Catch, Atisuto, Bull and Roo and Fratelli La Bufala. Returning favourites include: Gaucho, Sonamu, The Gramercy, Tresind and Royal Orchid.
Brand new for 2016 is an addition where visitors can take on cooking challenges throughout the festival, and where their dishes will be judgedby Taste’s star-studded line-up of celebrity chefs, and prizes will won!For visitors looking for a more relaxed day, there will be a new Cheese and Grape tasting feature as well as a DeLonghi Coffee Lounge.
Electrolux will also offer exciting and interactive features such as the new Electrolux Secret Ingredient, an unforgettable sensory experience involving sound, smell, touch and taste that will empower and expand the cooking capabilities of all aspiring home cooks; the Electrolux Chef’s Theatre which will hostinspiring live cooking demonstrations and the ever-popular Electrolux Chefs’Secrets offering top tips and techniques from the Electrolux partner chefs in a series of interactive cooking sessions.
