WAFI Introduces A New In-House Band Feti Blue & The Blues Train

Feti Caglayan, the founder of the Feti Blue & the Blues Train, was born in Turkey in 1975. His love to music started in high school, playing classical music on his guitar. In 2000 Feti moved to Cincinnati, where he got influenced by the funk and blues. He played in many bands performing blues, rock, disco and funk. From 2004-2006 he also worked as live music manager and ran the “Open Jam Sessions” at one of the best coffee shops and bars in Cincinnati, Ohio.
In 2006 Feti moved to Florida and started working with great Soul / R&B / Motown bands. Same year he founded Feti Blue Band and began touring with numerous talented musicians. Recently, Feti formed another band called Breaking Blues with founding member and keyboard player of 70s band Rare Earth. Feti Caglayan is now recording his first album with Breaking Blues.
Gokhan Yarat started his music career playing mostly rock in Ankara, Turkey. As a groovy drummer he participated in many blues, rock and pop bands. Gokhan worked with names such as Sertap Erener, Isin Karaca, Metin Arolat, to name a few. He has been playing as a drummer in Feti Blue Band in the concerts held in Ankara.
Efecan Tuncer studied in Yıldız Technical University, Arts and Design Faculty, Jazz Music Department. He has been working as a freelance bass guitar artist in Istanbul since 2005. Efecan was touring with various musicians such as M. Cem Tuncer, Ediz Hafızoğlu, Jülide Özçelik to name a few. He also worked in E.N.C Music Production Company as composer, where he composed music for more than 10 famous TV shows aired in Turkey and abroad.
Fatma Baba was born in 1989 in Sakarya. From early age she was singing with the choir of Adapazarı Enka Schools as a band lead vocal and later attended Kasdav Music Contest. After graduating from high school Fatma had participated in some bands such as Big Boss with Emre Turhan and Mustafa Çakırlar quartet. Back in her hometown she sang with Sonuç Mühürdaroğlu, after which she started her own band, and had a gig on national TV program (TRT). In 2014 Fatma went to University of Sakarya State Conservatory with one of the highest scores. Last year Fatma sang with Feti Blue Band in Kaş and a few months later she was the vocal at Open Mic Jazz programme.

Feti Blue and the blues train are playing in Carter’s weekly from 3rd February until 30th April 2016 with the below themed nights:
Wednesdays – Blues & Soul Nights – 9pm – 12mn
Thursdays – R&B, Motown & Reggae Nights – 10pm – 1am
Fridays – Rock ‘n’ Roll for brunch – 2pm – 5pm
Disco & Funk Nights – 10.30pm – 1am
Saturdays – Blues, Souls, R&B Nights – 8pm – 11pm
