The all-new 2019 Ram 1500 is set to change every preconception users may have of trucks.  The completely overhauled model, better than ever, now offers enhanced capability, strength and performance and pushes innovation, technology and refinement to entirely new heights, revolutionizing the brand’s flagship vehicle in what is perhaps its most significant redesign ever.  The revamped model will soon be launched in the UAE.

The all-new 2019 Ram 1500 delivers innovative state-of-the-art technology with the award-winning fourth-generation Uconnect® system and available class-exclusive, 12-inch (305mm) reconfigurable touchscreen display featuring split-screen capability for dual-application operation, with Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ (available on both the 8.4-inch / 213.36 mm and 12-inch / 305 mm touchscreens). New multifunction type C USB ports that allow devices to be charged up to four times faster than standard USB outlets are included as standard and an integrated wireless charging pad is also available. An innovative, highly advanced active noise cancellation system and acoustic glass reduce ambient sounds down to a low 67.1 dB, making it the quietest Ram 1500 ever. Manoeuvrability and parking are also made easier, thanks to the all-new 2019 Ram 1500’s available combination of ParkSense® front and rear parking sensors.

Most luxurious truck ever

Offering the very highest levels of space and luxury including the most leather and real wood, the interior of the all-new 2019 Ram 1500 sets a standard that competitors will find hard to match in terms of design and quality. An additional 4-inches (10 cm) has also been added to the cabin, giving rear seat passengers best-in-class legroom of 45.1-inches (1,146 mm), with the added luxury of ventilated rear seats that recline up to 8-degrees and a fold-down rear seat centre console.

The cabin features interior storage totalling 151.1 litres and a reimagined centre console with 12 different storage configurations that offers never-before-seen customization, while other features, such as the exclusive lockable RamBox bedside storage, hidden bins and flat-load floor, offer totally unique solutions for cargo.

Exhilarating performance

All 2019 Ram 1500 models are powered by the legendary 5.7-litre HEMI® V8 with variable-valve timing (VVT) for greater efficiency and performance. It delivers 395hp at 5,600 rpm, 410 lb.-ft. of torque in a smooth, broad power band that avoids the hesitation and peakiness of turbocharged engines and is linked to a smooth 8-speed automatic transmission.

No compromise ride, handling and maximized fuel efficiency

The 2019 Ram 1500 offers class-leading ride and handling, which is delivered via a unique link-coil rear suspension system and an optional air suspension system that features five height settings for optimum ride and aerodynamic performance. In addition to an enhanced smooth ride, the air suspension also allows the driver – via a separate button on the key fob – to lower the truck, allowing easier passenger entry and reduced tailgate lift-over height.

–The Frequency Response Damping (FRD) shocks – deliver the best combination of ride and handling. When the Ram 1500 experiences a slower input, common during cornering and heavy braking, the bypass valve is closed for more aggressive damping, which provides additional stability and poise.

For the all-new 2019 Ram 1500, the engineering team has made overall weight reductions totalling nearly 225 pounds (102 kgs) net compared to the previous model and have created the strongest Ram 1500 ever with the most efficient frame in the segment – 100 pounds (45.4 kgs) lighter with 98 per cent high-strength steel to improve durability, weight and rigidity for improved handling.

A variety of interior features provide extra comfort to passengers including upgraded cloth upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, keyless entry, power folding mirrors, an 8-way power driver seat with 4-way lumbar support and available remote engine start and dual-zone automatic climate control.

The very latest generation of the award-winning Uconnect™ infotainment system has a standard 8.4-inch (213.6 mm) full-colour display, handsfree mobile phone connectivity and a media hub with type C USB and AUX inputs.

Ram 1500 Rebel: No Limit Off-Road Capability

For the 2019 model, a one-inch factory lift and coil spring suspension are standard and active-level four-corner air suspension is available. Rebel also includes Hill-descent Control for more off-road prowess and an electric shift-on-the-fly part-time transfer case. Hefty tow hooks feature wide bumper openings to ease use and the underbody protection features skid plates on the transfer case, steering system, oil pan and petrol tank.
