dusitD2 Kenz Hotel Offers Free Month-Long Accommodation to Struggling Individuals and Families in UAE
Community driven initiative aimed at supporting those impacted by the Coronavirus market impacts.
Now is the time to support and give back to the community more than ever. Contemporary dusitD2 Kenz Hotel located in Barsha Heights is launching a CSR initiative called “dusitD2 for Humanity” aimed at supporting individuals and families affected by the COVID-19 market impacts, by providing one-month accommodation for four individuals/ families.
The dusitD2 for Humanity initiative, in collaboration with Dusit Princess Residences Dubai Marina is opened to the general public of U.A.E. to nominate themselves or someone in need, through a video explaining their situation.
“Now is the time to help each other. We are allocating rooms and apartments to the dusitD2 for Humanity project, to do our part in times like these,” explains Cluster General Manager, Bassam Zakaria. “Whether you’ve lost your job, awaiting your repatriation flight, having difficulties paying rent or just need some additional support, we want to help. If there’s someone else you know who could use the help, nominate them through a video and send it privately to us. We have been operating in the U.A.E for several years and it only feels like our rightful duty to support the efforts of the U.A.E. government and give back to the community that has given us so much throughout the years.”
With the goal of giving back and supporting the UAE community, the “dusitD2 for Humanity” initiative will offer four families/ individuals with one-month accommodation each. To be considered for accommodation, participants need to record a video nominating themselves or someone else in need by answering two simple questions:
- Why does he/she need one-month accommodation?
- How is he/she going to utilize this one-month period to develop oneself or help the community?
Kicking off in the first week of July, clear instructions will be made available on dusitD2 kenz hotel’s social media channels, following which people in need can reach out to the hotel via Instagram Direct Message or Facebook Messenger to share their stories and hope to be picked for accommodation support.
