in5 produces thousands of 3D printed face shields for Dubai Health Authority

in5 has released an inspirational video revealing the 3D printed face shields its engineering team along with some of its startups produced, assembled and distributed for Dubai Health Authority to protect the UAE’s frontline medical workers.
The behind-the-scenes video shows in5 engineers working alongside entrepreneurs, using innovative manufacturing methods utilising in5’s state-of-the-art equipment and facilities to produce 3D printed personal protective equipment inscribed with the hashtag #UAEHeroes. It follows them to Rashid Hospital where doctors and nurses unbox the personal protective equipment. Thousands of units will eventually be made for healthcare authorities as part of ongoing efforts to combat COVID-19.
