OSH Launches Catering Service

As a result of great demand; OSH, La Mer’s contemporary licensed Uzbek restaurant has just launched a catering service. The delectable creations will offer a truly authentic Uzbek cuisine experience suited for serving in commercial spaces, at corporate events, on private yachts or homes.

Named after the popular Uzbek dish, OSH offers a vast variety of appetizing canapé, hors d’oeuvres and buffets representing the traditional cuisine served in a modern style. 

The eclectic catering menu presents customers with a range of appetisers such as the famous Uzbek style steamed dumplings, soups and salads accompanied by traditional authentic Uzbek main dishes and a fine selection of grilled meats. Diners can choose from the ‘Osh Pradznichny’ a traditional Uzbek ‘plov’ cooked with braised lamb or opt for chicken or other grill stations amongst other selections which can be ended sweetly with OSH’s celebrated desserts. 

“In the last couple of years, there have been countless requests for food catering services from OSH. Our diners who enjoy the select dishes want to offer the same unique experience at their private events versus traditional options. The high demand gave us room for creativity and the opportunity to invest into developing the catering service. We wanted to bring diners an authentic Uzbek experience to enjoy at their next event,” said Anton Viner, owner of OSH in La Mer.   

The venue takes pride in serving original recipes without localizations or alterations, preserving their authenticity, with most ingredients flown in from Uzbekistan directly to maintain the true tastes and flavours of the dishes inspired by ‘The Silk Road’ and the ‘Middle East’, which people now can enjoy from anyplace anywhere.  

“Food is one of the main components in creating an unforgettable event. I wanted to create a unique menu that offers our customers a ‘fine dining’ experience but with the casual Uzbek style and twist. We’re very excited to present a wide selection of choices including the restaurant’s signature grilled meats selection and more,” said Chef Alejandro Castro. 

The catering service will be applied for a minimum of 12 guests and served by the OSH team. For larger parties, the option for having senior chefs at the event are also available.
