The Theater of Digital Art presents the first edition of Van Gogh x Japan: The Immersive Experience

This July, step into the untold story of the genius that is Van Gogh at the Van Gogh x Japan exhibition, which debuts for the first time in Dubai. Brought to you by the Theatre of Digital Art at Souk Madinat Jumeirah, guests can immerse themselves in the captivating world of traditional Japanese art, where stunning visuals come to life with profound storytelling.

The experience, combining Van Gogh’s brilliance with Japan’s cultural heritage, will see the artworks differently, as entire rooms are transformed into canvases, creating a unique and captivating experience. As guests walk through the exhibition, they will discover the remarkable influence of Ukiyo-e on European impressionists, including the legendary artist. This educational show fuses the most outstanding artworks from the East and West, showcasing Van Gogh’s masterpieces in 360-degree detail, with every inch maximized for viewers to lose themselves in the incredible nature of the artworks. In addition to viewing the art, visitors can also partake in different traditional Japanese customs, including tea tasting, Ikebana masterclasses (the art of flower arrangement), and Haiku learning (a form of Japanese poetry).

The Theatre of Digital Art is the UAE’s first 360° hub, which strives to enrich the cultural landscape by combining art and technology. It has revolutionized appreciating art in all manifestations, allowing modern technology to enhance classic styles.
