Start your family’s culinary adventure at Le Gourmet this August

Le Gourmet is hosting an exciting summer cooking camp series in August. The gourmet food haven in Galeries Lafayette, Dubai Mall is inviting kids and adults to sign up for classes taught by Le Gourmet’s team of talented in-house chefs every Sunday this month from 12 pm to 2 pm.

The curated classes are designed for budding chefs to get comfortable and have fun in the kitchen, working with recipes geared for their age group. The Kids’ Program held at Le Gourmet’s soft-play area Treasure Island is for kids aged 3-12 and teaches fundamental kitchen skills and explores new foods.

After dropping their kids off, adults can head to Le Gourmet’s dedicated cooking area to experiment with simple yet sophisticated menus that they can recreate at home.

Each week has a different theme, so kids and adults can sign up for multiple sessions throughout the month.

“This is a wonderful way for kids to get creative and grow their confidence. Not to mention learn a valuable life skill and healthy eating habits whilst having fun in the kitchen. Parents and their kids might learn in separate spaces on the day, but the lessons learned in class can be brought home for more fun family time together.”

Class themes are designed to inspire kids to expand their palates and explore cultures and include everything from Pizza Mastery and the Art of Sushi to cake pops crafting and making and decorating cookies. Adults, get ready to learn how to make a delicious bowl of pasta from scratch, roll your own sushi and wow your friends and family with homemade gyozas and shumai not to mention the secret to Le Gourmet’s signature macarons.
