Trader Vic’s on the palm celebrates national Mai Tai Day

Victor Bergeron – founder of the famous Trader Vic’s – is the man behind the sweet and potent concoction that is the Mai Tai, born 79 years ago in 1944! Trader Vic’s at Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah is inviting the cocktail fans to cool off from the summer heat at their island location for the annual commemoration of this incredible drink. On the 30th August from 5PM onwards, Trader Vic’s is celebrating by offering guests FIVE drinks from their Mai Tai menu for just AED 79 – talk about a tiki-tastic celebration!

Situated on the ground floor at Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah, next to the azure pool, Trader Vic’s will transport you to the island vacation of your dreams with its delicious cocktails. On 30th August, not only will guests get to sip on delectable Mai Tais of their choosing for less than AED 100, but they can also leave with a new skill to impress their friends. Sharing Vic Bergeron’s iconic cocktail recipe, Trader Vic’s will host a special, free-of-charge Mai Tai mixology class – so guests can shake their Mai Tai and drink it too!
