Candlelight Concert Series presents A Century of Iconic Arab Music at the Iconic Zabeel Theatre

Having delighted audiences worldwide, Candlelight international concert series created by Fever is set to enchant Dubai once more. For the first time ever, the iconic Zabeel Theatre at Madinat Jumeirah will resonate with the timeless melodies of traditional and contemporary Arab music. Hosted at the striking venue on Sunday, 10th December 2023, this event promises an unforgettable evening of musical diversity, cultural brilliance, and enchantment.

With two sessions scheduled at 6 PM and 9 PM, guests will be immersed in the melodic tunes of classic Arab music, masterfully performed by the renowned Fusion Al Arab Group. The program will showcase masterpieces such as “Lamma Bada Yatathanna”, “Longa Riyad”, and “Alef Leila W Leila” by Umm Kulthum, along with modern classics like “Ahbk” by Hussain al Jasmi, among others.

Candlelight Concerts are a series of original music concerts created by Fever aimed at democratizing access to classical music by allowing people worldwide to enjoy live music and candlelit performances played by local musicians in various stunning locations illuminated by thousands of candles.

Initially conceived as a classical music series with concerts featuring works from the greatest composers, such as Vivaldi, Mozart, and Chopin – now, the ever-growing list of programs includes various themes, genres, and tributes to contemporary artists like Queen, ABBA, Coldplay, and Ed Sheeran, as well as shows dedicated to K-Pop, movie soundtracks and many more. This multi-sensory experience has also evolved to feature different elements, such as ballet dancers or aerial performers, as well as other genres, such as jazz, soul, opera, flamenco and more.
