Turkish Airlines grows in double digit and launches exclusive round trip fares from Kuwait to Istanbul
Turkish Airlines recorded a double digit growth in 2014 for its premium cabins across the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait markets. Passenger growth in the airline’s Business Class, and premium economy cabin Comfort Class increased by 17.45 percent, while international-to-international transfer passengers increased by 9.05 percent compared to 2013.

Commenting on the significant growth for the airline, Adem Ceylan, Vice President Marketing & Sales for Turkish Airlines in Middle East & Cyprus, said: “Last year was comprised of several industry challenges in addition to economic constraints of the region. However our GCC market growth reflected our growth internationally where we carried 54.7 million passengers in 2014, up 13.3 percent from 48.3 million passengers for the same period of 2013.
“This was made possible through innovative pricing, enhanced products and services and careful route planning.”
